How to get here
Arriving by Ferry
When exiting the port be sure to stay in the left-hand exit lane (M20) which passes under the flyover. Continue for 500m until the traffic light junction beside the Sports Centre and turn right into Woolcomber St (A256). At the next set of lights turn right heading up Castle Hill Rd and look for us on your left-hand side just opposite the old oak tree.
If you're accidentally channelled up the Jubilee Way flyover at the Port exit roundabout, don't panic. Just continue until the next roundabout at the top of the hill and take the first exit turning left on to the A258 and back into Dover. This road descends back to the town centre via Castle Hill Road, We are almost at the bottom of the hill, just look for the oak tree.
As above except when exiting Gatwick join the Eastway and then the M23 North heading towards London and the M25. Join the M25 heading east.
Arriving by train - Dover Priory
Exit the train station and cross the road, walking past the Priory pub. Continue straight towards the town centre although cross to the right-hand side of Folkestone Rd before the roundabout. On the right side of the roundabout cross at the pedestrian lights, turn left and then a quick right into Worthington St. At the bottom of this road is Biggin St (High St) where you turn right. Continue on until you reach the market square where you'll see the Castle picturesquely perched atop the hill to your left. Walk in this direction, along Castle Hill Rd, and then up Castle Hill Rd where you'll find us on your left just opposite the old oak tree.
From Heathrow / North of England
Join the M25 London Orbital heading south and continue until Junction 5 and take the M26 turn-off heading south towards Maidstone & Dover. The M26 then merges with the M20 which takes you all the way to Dover.
As you approach Dover you'll reach a series of 4 roundabouts, all of which just head straight on. After the 4th roundabout you'll reach a set of traffic lights at the junction with Woolcomber St (A256) where you should turn left. At the next set of traffic lights turn right on to Castle Hill Rd and you will see us on your left-hand side opposite the old oak tree.
Arriving by Bus - Town centre stop
The town centre bus/coach stops are on Pencester Rd. Walk in the direction of the church which is at the bottom of the road, against the flow of traffic. Turn right along Maison Dieu Rd and cross the street at the pedestrian crossing. After the school playing field there is a small back street called Ashen Tree Lane which provides a short cut to Castle Hill Rd. We are just a few doors up the hill and on your left side, just opposite the old oak tree.
