Breakfast Options (The 'Sarah' apartment is let as self-catering only)

Every morning between 8 am and 9:30 am breakfast is served in the social dining room at our neighbouring property, the Cleveland House. The breakfast option can be added to/removed from a booking during the stay.

 

A freshly cooked breakfast including buffet options is available for £10 p/person , or a buffet option only for £7 p/person

 

In the event that we deem the covid-19 virus to still be a concern then we may instead offer guests the option of a cooked breakfast from an adapted menu for £7.50 per person and which is served in the comfort of your bedroom at a pre-arranged time of your choosing between 8 am & 9:30 am.

For vegan and other dietary requirements or allergies please let us know prior to your stay and we will ensure suitable options are available for you.

Check-in:   4 pm - 10 pm

All guests' arrivals are by prior arrangement and we ask that you notify us of your approximate arrival time at least 24 hours prior to the day of your stay.

  • We can be available for arrivals and check-ins​ from 4 PM ​until​ 10 PM.

  • ​A free luggage drop-off service ​is possible ​between 10 AM to 12 PM​ with prior request.​

  • Any essential arrivals ​outside of these hours ​​are strictly by prior agreement and subject to an out-of-hours charge of £ 15​.​ 

  • Please note that no arrivals are possible before 10 AM or after 10 PM.

Check-out: 10:30 am

Please be ready to vacate your room by 10.30 am on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged. Please try to leave the accommodation as clean as possible.  If not already done so you must settle your bill in full before departure.  If you have made use of any further service for which payment has not been made during your stay, we will add this to your invoice.

Payments

Payment is to be settled at check-in or soon after.  We accept cash sterling (£) or Euros (€), as well as all major credit/debit cards (excluding Solo) and NFC contactless payments (Apple/Google Pay).

Advance payments are to be made with a credit/debit card over the telephone or via a mobile SMS link to a secure payment gateway, or alternatively via a bank transfer with all fees covered by the payer when applicable. 

Parking

We have space for four regular sized cars in our off-street car park which are offered to guests on arrival subject to availability. Spaces are non-reservable.  If our car park is full then street parking on Castle Hill Road and Laureston Place is free from 3:30 pm to 10:30 am. During the afternoons a visitor permit is required which can be purchased from us for £2 per day.

Children & Babies

Unfortunately, our rooms are not suitable for children under the age of four during busy times of the year.

Pets

Sorry, but due to allergies we do not allow pets in our B&B.

Accessibility

Our Grade II listed Georgian townhouse has LOTS of stairs and NO LIFT. We do have ground-level rooms which are suitable for those with restricted mobility, however, our facilities are sadly not suitable for wheelchair use. If you have mobility issues and would like a ground-level room, then please call us when booking to ensure the accommodation booked is suitable for your needs.
